Web Streaming

Web streaming TVUPI as a modern campus communication model developed for 2 years through design, testing, revision, dissemination, and measuring its contribution to the quality of learning. Through modern campus communication model, it is expected that all parties both on national and international scale would be able to interact quickly and appropriately in meeting the information needs of UPI. Development of TVUPI as a communication model involves scholars who support, particularly, from the communication science. Thus, practically and scientifically, Web streaming TVUPI is qualified for a modern campus communication model. The method used is Research & Development (R&D) during the design process. Whereas, testing and revision is done along with the lecturing process, considering that this research is on research group's scientific which should integrate the research process with the improvement of learning quality. In addition, TVUPI has access address of http://tv.upi.edu, intended to support the management of message transformation in order to imaging UPI at national and international level.

Dalam rancangan kali ini penulis membangun suatu web streaming dengan layanan content berupa video on demand. Video On Demand (VOD) sebagai bagian penting dalam system pembelajaran jarak jauh (Distance Learning) dapat mempermudah proses belajar-mengajar bila diintegrasikan ke dalam aplikasi elearning. Dengan adanya VOD, maka aplikasi e learning dapat memanfaatkan presentasi video secara live ataupun memainkan file audio video. Tujuan utama web streaming dengan VOD ini adalah memberikan layanan yang paling memuaskan bagi user, sehingga dalam aplikas e-learning nantinya yang dicakup berupa content layanan, tampilan yang menarik dan kemudahan akses bagi user. Ketersediaan informasi yang akurat dan aktual dewasa ini semakin menjadi sebuah keharusan bagi setiap instansi maupun lembaga pendidikan yang menyadari betul akan pentingnya keberadaan sebuah informasi. Terlebih dalam penyampaian sebuah materi pembelajaran supaya informasi pembelajaran yang disampaikan dapat menjadi lebih efisien dan efektif dalam penyampaiannya. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran menggunakan web streaming diharapkan mampu memberikan segi efisiensi dan efektifitas bagi dunia pendidikan agar dapat terciptanya kualitas dalam proses belajar mengajar. Web streaming ini digunakan dalam proses pendukung siswa dalam menyerap pelajaran yang ada didalam sekolah maupun diluar sekolah. Instansi pendidikan khusunya di SMK N 1 Kediri dalam hal proses belajar mengajar lebih optimal dengan memanfaatkan web streaming ini. Dengan judul “Pemanfaatan Web Streaming Untuk Pembelajaran Online Tentang Komputer Dan Jaringan Di SMK Negeri 1 Kediri” maka harapannya proses pendukung belajar mengajar di SMK N 1 kediri dapat optimal.

Pendekatan e-learning berbasis audio visual memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pendekatan e-learning konvensional, oleh karena itu penelitian ini berusaha merancang e-learning berbasikan audio-visual dengan memanfaatkan teknologi streaming. Many literary institutions use the Internet intensively: virtual libraries and readings available on websites, institutional presentations, texts and list of events… Usually these are more or less traditional spaces of literature using innovative presentation and advertising. In comparison, web streaming is a process in which the wish to create time and space is present in the possibility to be, communicate, act and create in many places at once and with many colleagues and audiences at once. This coming into being of literature in text, translation, reading and perception, combined with music, multimedia performance and discussions, flows together in an exchange of streams from different places simultaneously, which intertwine, communicate, flow into each other, merge, separate, and become new products. Using Ninjam means a delay in minutes and a polyphony of translations and voices as a jam session of musicians, brought together by Skype, allows visual meetings of people who had known each other only through their texts, and to, for example, play together in a live performance. Photos, films, mixing life and written poetry, installations and performances add to the happening. Small circles grow into broad fields which do not depend on the power holders and establishment in the literary business. Poetry finds new publics, inhabits new spaces. Geography and History are challenged again, a process very important for Europe and also very much for the Balkans today. The web streaming poetry (that will find its full potential in the newly established project SUPERNOVA) as well as electro-acoustic jam session concerts performed successfully in the pilot project B-link Festival of the New Communications, produced a net of events initiated in Belgrade by the visual studio Gal 12+, Ozone Gallery and the AUROPOLIS – Association of Multimedia Artists, and bringing together their artist friends from other cities in the world. This is a short reminiscence on the very beginning of many present and future collaborations born in virtual spaces. Belgrade web streaming fever started in spring of 2006, when a group of young multimedia artists from Belgrade, supported by o3One Gallery, started the B-link Festival of the New Communications, with visual artists Dorijan Kolundzija as the artistic director of the project. The festival presented contemporary web culture through lectures and presentations of web design, visual arts and live streaming jam session performances.

O Web Streaming e uma tecnologia emergente que, certamente, ocupara uma parcela importante no campo da cibercultura. A presente pesquisa propros um levantamento teorico a respeito dessa area, e uma analise sobre as diferentes abordagens sobre os campos de criacao, producao e distribuicao de conteudo Web Streaming: TV Digital Live (ao vivo) e On Demand (conteudo previamente gravado que as pessoas tem acesso). O principal objetivo desta pesquisa foi fazer um mapeamento do comportamento de Web Streamings existentes; selecionar e analisar produtos nestes formatos, problematizando sobre questoes atuais que envolvem o tema, alem de explorar, aprofundar, abrir caminhos e dar continuidade as pesquisas. A pesquisa teve como funcao revelar quais as potencialidades destes meios para que os usuarios possam gerar seus proprios conteudos atraves dos meios digitais. Analisar o conteudo realizado pelos usuarios de forma participativa e colaborativa, no qual os receptores deixam de ser apenas interpretadores de material pre-elaborado e assumem a funcao de receptores ativos: interatores . A principal justificativa para esta proposta, foi a atualidade da tematica e as poucas pesquisas realizadas a respeito. A pesquisa tem como hipotese que as experiencias hipermidiaticas irao crescer, nao somente atraves da area de entretenimento, mas sim informacao e educacao. O Web Streaming ou Video Streaming ira promover grandes avancos nas areas da comunicacao, design e conteudo. A mudanca devera ser, principalmente, do ponto de vista das producoes realizadas pelos usuarios. Sera a mudanca de um receptor relativamente passivo para um receptor ativo: interator . A pesquisa tem como base de estudo e fundamentacao teorica, os conceitos, ja existentes, de midias emergentes, cibercultura, TV digital e transmissao online, que prometem serem ferramentas imprescindiveis para estudos sobre questoes midiaticas. Como resultado desta pesquisa observamos que trata-se de um campo em pleno desenvolvimento, e extremamente mutavel, mas que ja faz parte do nosso cotidiano, e ja esta gerando boas producoes, audiencia, e principalmente a interacao do usuario, mas concluiu-se tambem a necessidade da insercao da comunidade nesse novo aparato

Web streaming environment need a suitable video playback service technique, a streaming technique for real-time delivery and an efficient control technique due to its limited environment. In this paper, we propose an effective control technique for real-time media stream playback as a connection technique between the high-quality media player and web browser based on Linux environment. The proposed stream control technique presents control data through 050 on media playback screen of web browser, and process the user's input data. It acts GUI-independently, and is designed considering addition and extension for control data.
