Five years ago Fritz Trott met Zenjob’s co-founders Cihan Aksakal and Frederik Fahning. All three were looking for a new challenge in life and longed for more satisfaction in their jobs. Fritz had already had a marketing career at Rocket Internet, Cihan had built up the company kaufDA as founder & CTO and Frederik was exploring the legal side of technological opportunities in the job market. In the early days of Zenjob, users would receive student jobs via email newsletter and SMS.
